Gorgeous Home with hot tub on 6.5 acres minutes from Whitefish!

Beautiful cabin, lots of space and rooms. We enjoyed the hot tub and private clearing in the back surrounded by trees. There’s an odd architectural element of toilets being in their own bathroom, which causes you to leave that room to another room to wash hands, (two shower rooms have the sinks), but other than that particular element, gorgeous stay!

The house is lovely and in a tranquil location. The pretty yard was frequented by deer, turkeys, and even a bear. Room accommodations were great for our multifamily gathering and the kids enjoyed the game room. The dining table and family room comfortably seated our nine. Some cookware was a bit rough (sauté pans in particular), kitchen supplies were a bit more sparse than we are used to in high end accommodations, and the water is very sulfuric. We had to purchase all our water; an unexpected inconvenience and expense, and even the showers and dishwasher suffered from the strong smell. Any concerns were addressed promptly (even if they could not be fixed like the water smell). The property manager, Tree, is friendly and efficient.

The property manager, Tree, was great to deal with. Easy & quick communication. The house was spacious, and the grounds were huge. The bathrooms were a bit awkward—no sinks near the separate toilet rooms—but totally manageable.

We chose this property to celebrate a major family milestone and had a really lovely stay in a truly beautiful home. The location is unbelievable and the house was stunning and incredibly well stocked, honestly more than we expected. The host was also very accommodating with our check-in time which we genuinely appreciated. We understand how much goes into hosting so please take our feedback in the spirit it's intended.The listing advertises AC throughout the home, however only the master bedroom and upstairs hallway actually have AC. For a property at this price point we feel that's worth clarifying upfront. The heating was also tricky to navigate. Despite reading the instructions carefully and having multiple people try, some rooms ran very hot with no way to turn them off while others couldn't get heat at all.The checkout experience was our biggest frustration. We were so grateful for the flexible check-in which made us feel welcomed. The checkout felt like the opposite, a 10am time paired with an extensive cleaning list and a substantial cleaning fee was overwhelming at the end of a big trip. We have stayed in other rentals where expectations felt more balanced. We know hosting is hard and this was just our experience, shared with that context in mind.
